Sharp Exhausts – Returns & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Sharp Exhausts, we take pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship, reliable products, and exceptional customer service. If you experience an issue with a product or service, we’re here to help. This policy outlines how returns, refunds, and warranty claims are handled.

2. Change of Mind

Because our exhaust systems and components are often custom‑made, fabricated to order, or fitted specifically to your vehicle, we do not offer refunds or returns for change‑of‑mind purchases.

Non‑custom retail items may be eligible for return at our discretion, provided they are:

• Unused

• In original packaging

• Accompanied by proof of purchase

3. Faulty or Defective Products

If a product supplied by Sharp Exhausts is found to be faulty, defective, or not performing as intended, we will:

• Inspect the item

• Repair or replace the product where appropriate

• Offer a refund only if repair or replacement is not possible

Faulty product claims must be made within 30 days of:

• The product being fitted by Sharp Exhausts, or

• The item being received via post

All claims must include proof of purchase.

4. Workmanship Guarantee

All exhaust work completed by Sharp Exhausts is covered by a workmanship guarantee.

If you believe an issue has occurred due to installation or fabrication, contact us and we will assess the vehicle.

• If the issue is due to workmanship, we will repair it at no cost.

• If the issue is unrelated (e.g., vehicle damage, misuse, external modifications), standard service fees may apply.

5. Custom Work & Special Orders

Custom exhaust systems, mandrel bends, fabricated components, and special‑order parts are non‑refundable once work has commenced or parts have been ordered.

This includes:

• Custom builds

• One‑off fabrication

• Modified or altered components

• Parts ordered specifically for your vehicle

6. Gift Vouchers

Sharp Exhausts gift vouchers are non‑refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They may be used toward any product or service offered by Sharp Exhausts and must be redeemed before the expiry date listed on the voucher.

7. Warranty Claims

Warranty coverage varies depending on the product manufacturer.

For manufacturer warranties:

• We will assist with the claim process

• Final decisions are made by the manufacturer

• Repair or replacement outcomes depend on their assessment

Workmanship warranty claims are handled directly by Sharp Exhausts.

79 Series Landcruiser Systems: 

All Sharp Exhausts systems designed and fitted for 79 Series Landcruiser’s include a 2‑year warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and vehicle details.

8. How to Lodge a Return or Claim

To start a return, refund, or warranty claim, please contact us:

• Via our social media channels

• By calling 9744 5005

• Or by visiting us in person

Please provide your name, vehicle details, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue.

9. Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for major failures, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL.
